Ponycon Holland 2023

I got to draw the guest T-shirt design for this years Ponycon Holland!  i love these mascots and the theme this year was so fun, I loved getting to use ALL THE COLOURS!

This is an alternate-color version of Jasper Storm that I did in 2014.

The drawing is one that went into my first Dragon Adventure coloring book, and as usual I wanted to test-drive the design (and also test-drive a different color scheme than I'd used originally). I don't use oranges often at all, so this was a fun leap outside my comfort zone.

I ended up offering this design for the convention T-shirt for ConQuesT in Kansas City in 2018, when I was the artist guest of honor. (Ray Van Tilburg handled the shirt-making end of things, as he has decades of experience!)

I made this with ink and Prismacolor pencils. The dragon holds a bug-eye acrylic shiny bit.
