That’s the power of music I guess. It moves. I love how you see Catch Fire as a song about rebirth because hell, it took me a while to understand the songs on SGFG. I am maybe a little close minded so songs about relationships are just songs about relationships to me. but to see messages like this, about how much songs mean to other people just moves me and make me realize that interpretation is a powerful thing and it’s so abstract and flexible.
It’s great if one day we can have a small discussion on what these songs mean to us you know. To see all these people, in a room, together, singing along to the songs and knowing that every single one of them have different things to relate to the songs and different interpretation... that’s a moving thought.
