memorizing surah’s protip
I, like many converts/non-arabic speaking Muslims, am struggling with memorizing surah’s for prayer, but I realized something the other day that’s been a huge help
The Quran is poetry fam. Literally. All those surah’s are poems, so look for poetic qualities in them - repetition, rhym, etc I realized Surah Iklahs lowkey rhymes all the way down, and as soon as I did I had the whole thing memorized & my pronunciation improved!
