there was a sense of relief that finn felt as lena allowed him inside, thank god that he lived in a friendly neighborhood because he did not feel like breaking into his own home at this hour. "you are a life savor." he said, stepping inside just as he heard another crack of lightning behind him. he would say that his luck was in a bad place right now if it weren't for the fact that his neighbor was so cute. maybe he'd been too busy all of the times they'd encountered each other, but even he had to admit that she was pretty. "thank you." he said, taking the towel and doing his best to dry himself off. though at this point he was making a small puddle in her doorway. "this is most definitely one way to formally introduce myself." finn smiled, extending a dry hand to lena. "lena, pleasure to actually meet you." this was one of finn's more practical skills, he had a tendency to easily introduce himself to strangers. but you don't build a solid network in his line of work without being comfortable enough to at least introduce yourself. "i'm finn, your neighbor who apparently will be known for locking himself out." he said with a cheeky smile. his eyes scanned around her apartment, finding himself to be a tad bit nosey. her place looked really nice, much more homey than his was. "honestly i think i could do it on a sunny day, but when i'm threatened with being struck by lightning i think it's best that i wait for the storm to pass." he said with a laugh. "i know this is a long shot, but i'm going to ask anyway, do you happen to have a pair of sweats i could borrow? if i stay in these wet clothes any longer i am going to get sick." as embarrassing as it was to ask a stranger for clothes they may or may not have it was even more embarrassing standing in soaked clothes at her doorway. he might as well turn a hose on and stand in here with it running in her house. "i promise i don't make it a point to strip in front of strangers, only on their birthdays." he joked.

"The bright side is that you don't have a poor pet that's scared out of their mind from being alone so that's good." The cute guy was messing up her wood floor but heck, could be far worse if all the stories she heard of tornadoes held true. She had taken longer to find a place here that wasn't built with panels but old school because those houses faired better in tornadoes. She didn't want to get flown over with house and all thank you very much.
His request caught her a little offguard but it was understandable. "You are very lucky that I like baggy clothes," she teased keeping the tone relaxed and possibly over ompensating cheerfulness our of her sheer terror over getting blown to pieces by said tornado. "Be right back," and off she went to her room and managed to get sweatpants, a shirt and a hoodie. Heading back to the living room she handed them over to him. "Here you go. So, you're a striper?" she asked, possibly a little too blunt. "The whole undressing for birthdays thing I mean."
