Reunion

An extra long shift at Broken Record had her craving a latte like nothing else. Well, maybe a good snack, but she’d been informed there were rules about that. So she opted to get the largest size they had. She had left before her shift was done and sought out the closest coffee shop she could find. Unfortunately for her, it seemed like everybody else had that idea today. She was waiting for her drink and scrolling through her phone when she heard a name from the past. It was just enough to get her to look up to see who was picking up the coffee. A quick check, just to make her giggle. Instead she felt her non-existent breath stop and her phone clattered to the ground. “Devin?” She called.
