How did I get in this mess...
“I can’t stay still in one place, Claire. I need to get out,” Marina exclaimed as she quickly walked to the door of the room. “I’m too bored here, I’m going to the bar or something. I don’t know. Message me if something comes up, ok?”
She exited the door and exhaled, frustrated by the boredom of Court. She has only been there for a few days, but she was already pulling her hair out. She started walking to one of the bars as she looked down at her phone, expecting a call that was unlikely to happen. As she turned the corner, she bumped into someone and fell down on her back. It was a girl, brunette and younger than her. She was human.
“Ow, I’m sorry!” Marina said as she started lifting herself from the floor. “Got distracted with this… devilish machine.” She pointed at her cellphone, looking apologetically at the girl. “Are you ok?”
