Now Levi was a lover of all films. You’d figure that’s why he took a film class right? After all, it’d only make sense. And it did, he absolutely LOVED the class. Well he did, until that very Monday morning. His professor had introduced the class into a brand new project; one involving partners.
“Today class, you all will have a partner assignment.” The tall, older-looking professor announced to his students. “And your objective is to make a movie of at least a minimum of ten minutes.” The homework assignment caught Levi’s ears, whom was distractedly drawing in his notebook up until this point. Levi now had his full attention on the teacher, waiting for the so-called ‘theme’ of the assignment. “Now, I know you’re all thinking that I’m going to assignment you all a theme or prompt for this but fear not. This project is different. This time you all get to choose to do whatever you want with the film. You get a ton of freedom on this assignment. The purpose of this is to see how well you work with your partners. Some of you have different filming styles, and how amazing would that be to put them together to make something great? Pretty amazing, wouldn’t it?” The white-haired professor turned away from his students to point to the board. “Here I have your assigned partners. The assignment is due in two weeks. I know that sounds like a lot of time but it isn’t once you realize all the work you have to do. So use your time wisely.” Levi’s eyes fell on the board in front of the class and his eyes widened; Jude Czerny. The one kid he couldn’t stand in their school.
Levi turned to meet Jude’s eyes, his gaze quickly turning into a glare. Of course his professor paired them up. He must of did that on purpose, knowing the two couldn’t even stand being in each other’s presence. It was a known fact; not just to the professor but to the class, no-- -the whole college campus. With that being said, the professor had dismissed the class early so everyone could talk to their partners but Levi was reluctant. He didn’t want to be the first to approach Jude but it looks like he had no choice in this matter. The loud screeching of his chair being pushed back caused all eyes to fall on Levi, his classmates watching the two wearily. Levi moved towards Jude’s seat, eyes still fixated on his rival. The first thing that came out of his mouth wasn’t exactly a good start; “Let’s get one thing fucking straight; Just ‘cause I’m working on an assignment with you doesn’t mean I fucking like you. Nor will I ever. So let’s just get this over with, yeah?”
