Two coffees in hands, Rose snuck up behind Cameron. Once she was right behind him, she whispered: “Boo!” Standing up right, she grinned at him and held out his coffee for him. “Thought you could use some liquid energy.”

“what’s that on your face,” rose teased as she approached the other. by now, their face was common fixture in the er. she’d developed quite a good rapport with them over time. but, part of her was a little worried that they seemed find their way back in the er so often. “what happened this time, she asked as she picked up their chart to fill in the preliminary information. some of the basic questions she needed fill in was information she’d come to remember off the top of her head after their many visits.

rose bit her lip, and briefly looked away from max. this was the hardest part of leaving. she took a deep breath, steeling her nerves and then spoke: "you'll meet new people. and they'll be there to support you. and maybe one of the will even be the person you can fall in love with all over again.

“i guess i’ve just heard enough lies to know how to see the truth that’s hiding underneath,” rose shrugged, purposefully looking down so she didn’t have to look at max. “but that doesn’t mean it’s okay for you to keep lying to me like this, max. i want to be able to trust you.”
“Camerooon,” Rose called out as she ran towards Cameron, her arms wide open.
