Indulge in the delightful combination of red velvet cake mix and white chocolate with these easy-to-make cookie dough truffles. They're perfect for parties, special occasions, or whenever you're craving a sweet treat.
Ingredients: 1 box red velvet cake mix. 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted. 1/3 cup milk. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup white chocolate chips. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 package 12 oz white chocolate candy coating. Red food coloring optional. Sprinkles, for decorating.
Instructions: Mix the red velvet cake mix, milk, melted butter, and granulated sugar together in a large bowl. Mix everything together well. Add the white chocolate chips and mix them in. Mix in the all-purpose flour and salt slowly until a dough forms. If you want to use red food coloring, mix it in with the vanilla extract until the dough is a uniform color. Put the cookie dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roll it into small balls about the size of truffles. Put the truffle balls in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes to cool them down. While the truffle balls are chilling, melt the white chocolate candy coating the way it says on the package. Dip each cold truffle ball into the melted white chocolate coating using a fork or other dipping tool. Let the extra chocolate coating drip off. After coating the truffles, put them back on the parchment-lined sheet and add sprinkles right away, before the coating sets. Let the truffles set all the way. By putting them in the fridge, you can speed up the process. The truffles are ready to eat once they have set. Put in a container that won't let air in.
