oh right cookietrio/jo&brad&david + dana thought: while dana is definitely jo's best boss so far (respects her ambition and all of her ideas regardless of how crazy they may be, challenges her to do more), i will say that her sort of Apprenticeship to brad was imo her largest point of improvement ? i was watching some interviews and found it kind of odd that they kind of forgot that jo was brads assistant for a whole season (only acknowledging david and ian), but it was definitely her most formative with david coming second .
brad taught her a lot, especially with simply letting jo connect with zack to let her learn a lesson, and also sort of humbling her in please sign here ? like he definitely set her up to become capable of changing, making her realize that her powerhungry ambition needed to take a break, etc ... and jessie said in an interview that david was where jo learned the least which i mildly disagree with ? it was funny though, she compared it to graduating kindergarten which is fairly accurate but i feel like even then kindergarten is kind of like . the most formative year of a childs education in a sense ? you learn morals and basics to the world and . how to use scissors safely . and i think that helped reform jos foundation a little bit ? like it kind of tamed her for a season and taught her how to be a better assistant in a sense .
anyways i love that brad and jo are back to working together and have a much healthier power dynamic so now they can just be friends :) its really sweet i want to see them interact a bit more this season ...
