365 Day Mission - Day 36
1. My workmate applied for a new job and I was one of his referees. I received two phone in the space of 2 days and I basically sold the crap out of him! After a nervous wait he told me today that he got the job! So so happy for him and he really does deserve it.
The reason this all happened is because over the years of working at the hospital I've built a great relationship with Ben. We would normally have lunch together and just catch up and talk about blokey things. I'm sure I will do business with this guy one day.
2. After work I had dinner with Flic. Problem was...there was nothing spectacular in her fridge that we could cook. In the end we managed to quickly duck out to the nearest Coles and cooked up a storm!
The reason why we managed to end up with an awesome meal is because of our quick decision making and love to cook with one another. We were at the supermarket walking up and down aisles and for some reason we just enjoy doing that. I wonder how long I will love this for.
3. Played a 10pm basketball game and ankle didn't pull up as sore as I thought. We really played well as a team tonight and came up with the W.
My passion for basketball was the reason why I was able to play an intense physical sport that late. One time i was in bed at 9:30 and my brother asked me if I wanted to play a game for him. Sure enough I jumped out of bed to play =)
