So, I had a dinner party tonight.

It was supposed to be a cookout, but it ultimately proved easier to drink at my place. (Who ever plans the next one can be someone who actually knows how to grill. Or cook meat in general.)

So, I had a bunch of coworkers over: J from Ohio, T., P my student, Q of the unpronounable name, my visitor, and The Belgian. I spent the whole day cleaning, so my house looked pretty good when everyone showed up. And, The Belgian made an imediate beeline and picked up the brats. And then, he ate my chips and his chocolates.

We ate (after The Belgian took over cooking the meat because I put out half raw burgers because, as previously mentioned, I dont cook meat patties). We drank (there was Much Beer. Also soda, cider, still water, and sparkling water). And then we played Cards Against Humanity. The Belgian kicked all our asses. I felt kind of bad because Q missed a bunch of references and ended up winning a round on Schmegma without knowing what it meant. This also lead to much hilarity. Then, we walked down to the beach, stopped for ice cream, and walked back.

It was, all in all, good. I mostly like this girl, which I think is a change from years past. And, it was good to be with friends.
