I remember during the chapter 1-2 era of the poppy playtime era one of my old friends had tricked me into thinking the player was a 6 year old girl.
Though it's a great concept
A small child running away from home due to a letter sent for her dad but she wanted to be a big girl and do it herself. And somehow manages to go to playtime Co building by herself with a bike or something. She goes into the building does everything very similar. But at the same time so different.
Experiment (Poppy Playtime) AU:
Ok Heres the Concept.. Like the Player. So in This AU, Player is Like a orphan. Actuslly, a Teen. But ofc, a Experiment. Theres no number yet but Like itd more of a Poppy Playtime x Reader thing where you (Player/experiment) is Like with Harley eh, you know. I have many thoughts on this anti Harem business!
I have been thinking about this AntiHarem thing a lot! I love the concept of all the love interest initially hating MC for various reasons before slowly warming up to them and I have ideas.
I’ve read a few that involve the skeletons and I’ve noticed similar patterns through all the ones I’ve read. MC is living with the skeletons, the skeletons are all dating someone else (who is usually abusive and they are lying about MC to drag their reputation down) Mc has a kind soul or is an overly nice person all the time and there is always one skeleton who sides with MC since the beginning. If I were to write one I’d change a few things.
MC wouldn’t live with the skeletons. I imagine them living in an apartment building on about the third floor and the house over the fence belongs to the skeletons where the MC can see into their backyard and maybe a few rooms from their balcony.
The skeleton’s don’t have a s/o, some of them have hook ups but none of them are in a serious relationship. Instead they hate MC because of things they do (Accidentally) that directly affect the skeletons.
MC isn’t a kindness trait soul. In fact they don’t really care about a lot of things. They are still nice but more rough around the edges. They’re personality is quiet, calculating and calm, they smoke and are pretty sharp with their tongue.
Each of the skeleton’s hate Mc for different reasons, most of which are purely misunderstandings or cases of wrong place at the wrong time. Mc really just has terrible timing with each of the skeletons. I have figured out why most hate them too
Sans he just doesn’t like humans and then he sees MC getting irritated at Papyrus (or that's what it looks like) and he really doesn’t like them. Then the human keeps messing up his research.
Papyrus always seems to find MC yelling at someone for one thing or another and he’s heard MC say some awful things about others but doesn’t know the relationship MC shares with those other people.
Edge is his manager and pretty bossy to him. Edge assumes MC likes torturing him but MC is really just trying to help, although a badly timed laugh doesn’t make things better.
Red and Blue are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Mc turns around to fast and throws a cup of coffee on Blue by accident. She runs into Red and makes him drop the thing he’s holding. They both walk in to see MC yelling at their monster friend in a huff, or playfully shoving them.
Orange hates Mc because they seem to be constantly lying to him but MC doesn’t know Orange so why would they tell this strange skeleton anything?
Berry thinks that MC is blackmailing him. They aren't, they couldn’t care less but Berry is just a paranoid idiot.
Syrup just doesn’t feel anything towards MC but if his brother hates them then he will automatically be cruel to them.
As you can tell I haven’t been thinking about this at all. . . . Nope. not once did it cross my mind…. I really like the concept XD

One Sentence Review: This book had potential, and I did enjoy it at times, but ultimately, the story was fairly predictable and didn't always make sense, the narrator/protagonist frustrating, the dialogue sometimes redundant or stilted, and the writing, while genuinely pretty at times, could also be confusing and awkward.
