Sky byte i have a question for you
I have this fic im planing to start sometime soon
Its called stuntstars and let me give you a sumary of the au so i can explain my question:
"Cybertron was a fine a dandy place until the caste system and functionalism got implemented (sentinels idea), the stunticons who were a racing team got put into some kind of other job that they hated (idk what that is)
And bc they hated it they quit it, and since they couldnt have any other job bc of their modes they picked up the instruments they learned in their free time and formed a band, they play at maccadams who in this au is a dingy hole in the wall bar owned by dead ends situationship perceptor (how they met? Still geting workshoped)"
And thats where i ran into my problem idk if i want the war to happen or not
I keep going back and forth between having a side plot of megs and op somehow managing to fix things and avoid the war or making deadceptor go through a fuck ton of angst and get separeted during the war to reunite in the aftermath (i refuse to give them a bad ending)
What do i do??
My first thought was making this a post-war Cybertron fic, but then I realised that it probably won’t make sense.
The idea though of Optimus and Megatron trying to fix things sounds pretty interesting because there’s a lot at stake here such as lives, relationships, their own planet.
There could be a realisation somewhere that perhaps being united is better than being divided.
