It's a Megatron is still a gladiator, Hot Rod failed at meteor serfing suicide after his city got destroyed so he went to die in a fight and Minimus is not an Ultra Magnus but a mere cell watcher in the Gladiator's building :D I plan it as a little thing where Megs and Roddy make each others brains and fight as a team on rings (and make a lot of money from their banter duo fights) and Minimus unintentionally changes their lives

Since youre THE armada person i have a question for you

I have started to watch armada as you can see the evidence on the tf armada tag (sorry for clogging it, armada gives me thoughts that i want to share) and whenever the bots unite with the minicons i think that would have been the perfect opportunity to do a slight magical girl transformetion and have the bots change up a bit so they can match up the minicon partners and once my torment is over i plan on doing just that slight redesigns of the characters so question is:

What do you think i should do for megs redesign? Since youre him i thought it would be best to consult you on this matter

Also, I'd like to inform you that I thought about something similar a few weeks ago. For those who don't know, I am a sailor moon fan and on occasion I'll listen to the music from it, especially the transformation theme, and one day I randomly imagined the characters transforming into robot mode with the sailor moon theme in the bg xD

Not exactly the same thought but it was on a similar track!

My thoughts may go in a different direction than yours but here we go! You don't have to use them of course, they're just ideas!

Elegant but imposing. He should keep his imposing form but be elegant in how he looks, maybe give him some new colors or patterns to complement his existing colors? Maybe even a different horn shape?

Don't be afraid to put fabrics and clothes on them! Armada galvatron wears a scarf later on in the show and I think it looks nice, plus we don't get to see cybertronians in clothes very often!

If you're going for a minicon look leader 1 has a mask thing going on so maybe give him a new battle mask?

maybe a gem or two?

The tyrant was annoyed by the fact that his decepticons kept failing to get rid of them, but even he must admit that forcing the autobots into using guerilla tactics was impressive.

"When I took over my first city and began to expand my territory across the planet I nearly drove the autobot forces to extinction. They simply were not prepared to face my might at the time, especially with a minicon power boosted assault. I forced them to hide underground and use guerrilla tactics to even have a chance against my army. But still, even with numbers on my side, they still continue to evade me and now the battle begins anew on your planet where the autobots have aquired minicons of their own. Even if they think they have an advantage now, then they are mistaken. The autobots will never get on the level of power that I currently have."

A pause.

"However... I will admit, im impressed they managed to avoid extinction this long. Perhaps it is their persistence that keeps them alive. A thirst for freedom if you will, or a 'hope' that things will take a turn and I will make a mistake. Regardless of what it is, they can't last much longer, they will break under the pressure I put on them just like everything else."

The tyrant was patient. All he had to do was wait for an opportunity to arise, like a predator stalking prey.

Sky byte i have a question for you

I have this fic im planing to start sometime soon

Its called stuntstars and let me give you a sumary of the au so i can explain my question:

"Cybertron was a fine a dandy place until the caste system and functionalism got implemented (sentinels idea), the stunticons who were a racing team got put into some kind of other job that they hated (idk what that is)

And bc they hated it they quit it, and since they couldnt have any other job bc of their modes they picked up the instruments they learned in their free time and formed a band, they play at maccadams who in this au is a dingy hole in the wall bar owned by dead ends situationship perceptor (how they met? Still geting workshoped)"

And thats where i ran into my problem idk if i want the war to happen or not

I keep going back and forth between having a side plot of megs and op somehow managing to fix things and avoid the war or making deadceptor go through a fuck ton of angst and get separeted during the war to reunite in the aftermath (i refuse to give them a bad ending)

What do i do??

My first thought was making this a post-war Cybertron fic, but then I realised that it probably won’t make sense.

The idea though of Optimus and Megatron trying to fix things sounds pretty interesting because there’s a lot at stake here such as lives, relationships, their own planet.

There could be a realisation somewhere that perhaps being united is better than being divided.

I've been imagining Prowl's and Bonecrusher's pov with this song... I love this, thank you for bringing it back to my lair... Thank you thank you, I really needed more Hook in my life, as a dynamic, as an individual, he deserved more. Also yes absolutely love the gestalt thing but not liking how it's treated in original most of the times [by that I mean only gestalt exists and barely any time for characters separately]
