The Iceburger is a unique take on the traditional hamburger. Instead of buns, it has crisp ice lettuce leaves. It's a cool and low-carb option for people who like burgers.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 ice lettuce leaves. 4 tomato slices. 4 cheese slices. 4 hamburger buns. Salt and pepper to taste. Ketchup and mustard for condiments.
Instructions: Warm up a grill or griddle on the stove over medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add pepper and salt. The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Cover each patty with a lid and put a slice of cheese on top in the last minute of cooking. This will melt the cheese. Toast the buns on the grill until they are lightly browned while the burgers are cooking. In order to make the iceburgers, put a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, then a burger patty with melted cheese, a tomato slice, and toppings like ketchup and mustard. Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away. Have a nice, cool Iceburger!
