ofc, here are some boys
patton loves to make faces at babies behind the glass during warmups. one of his favorite things to do is to duck beneath the boards and then pop out above them, because it inevitably makes the baby observer clap and squeal. (ahh, the joys of object impermanence).
as i’ve mentioned before, virgil has a Squad of hockey kids and pre-teens that absolutely idolize him. he (secretly) adores them very much – however, he is also Very Anxious and terrified of accidentally being a bad influence on them.
(one time, he accidentally says “fuck” in front of a literal child, and it haunts him for the next two weeks. another time, this little girl says that she wants to be just like him when she grows up, and he internally panics because i don’t even want to be just like me, please don’t do that.)
regardless, they adopt him as their Big Hockey Brother, and there is Nothing he can do to stop it
roman, in theory, would be fantastic with kids, because he is creative and fanciful and Full of Love. however, for some reason, a large majority of his fans are teens and college students instead; (actually, most of his fans are girls with massive crushes on him, which is… yikes. Sorry Girls, You Are Lovely, But I Am A Homosexual)
that said, Roman pounces on any chance to help small children learn how to skate.
while logan likes to violently bodycheck the glass during warmups to spook opposing fans, remus likes to violently bodycheck the glass in front of children, because they always cheer and shout when he does so. (Children have ALMOST as much chaotic energy as himself, which he appreciates.)
