The first weekend of the year was something it seemed like everyone was looking forward to. Students and teachers alike. And Cooper was no stranger to the relief he felt being out of his uniform, no robes or suit to constrict him. That was something he was going to have to get used to. But for now, he was completely content with wondering the halls in a sweater and slacks, much more relaxed than his usual attire. He was certain he’d probably never hear the end of it from some of his coworkers. Just because he wasn’t teaching that day, didn’t mean he could just parade around out of uniform. But he didn’t care. He’d play dumb if he had to.
Cooper kept to himself, hands in his pockets as he strolled down the corridors. He waved to a few of his students that he’s had the pleasure of meeting, small grin in place. He then saw a girl up ahead of him drop something, and naturally, he put a pep in his step to go and pick up and article, calling out to her after a moment, “Excuse me, I think you dropped this, Miss.”
