As soon as the last class ended, Cooper’s usual wide and bright smile was wiped off of his face. He had a meeting with the headmaster about his change in lesson plans. Again. Just when Cooper thought that he had a good plan and schedule set, it got shut down. Something was missing. Some sort of substance. Something that makes this class worthwhile. No one needed to learn muggle music. It wasn’t a necessity. So why keep it as a class? Luckily the headmaster granted him a bit more time to come up with something else. But he felt spent. He wasn’t sure if he could come up with something better than his most recent plan.
It sat with him all day, causing him to be a bit off his game throughout the day. But he was certain no one noticed. He was pretty good at putting on a brave face. Especially when it came to his students. But once they had all left for the day, Cooper shrugged off his jacket and draped it over his desk chair, loosening his tie and placing both hands on top of his desk. Eyes focused down on the desktop covered in papers, Cooper felt defeated. How in the world was he going to pull this off? He was so lost in his own distress, he didn’t hear anyone enter the classroom.
