A delicious classic burger recipe featuring Cooper cheese, perfect for your backyard cookout.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup grated Cooper cheese. 4 hamburger buns. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons ketchup. 1 teaspoon mustard. 1/2 onion, thinly sliced. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 tomato slices. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add pepper and salt. Put the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. When the burgers are almost done, sprinkle grated Cooper cheese on top of each one and let it melt. Toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned while the burgers are cooking. To make the burger sauce, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl. Spread the burger sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together. Put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, then a burger patty with Cooper cheese that has melted on top of that. Place a tomato slice and onion slices that are very thin on top of the burger patty. Put the top half of the bun on top to finish. Warm up your Classic Cooper Burgers and eat them, of course!
