Just wanted to give you an update on the status of the zine ( thank everyone very much for pre-ordering! ) The zine should be delivered late next week, as today is Christmas and we're all quite busy with stuff!

Just wanted to give you an update on the status of the zine ( thank everyone very much for pre-ordering! ) The zine should be delivered late next week, as today is Christmas and we're all quite busy with stuff!
Thank you to everyone waiting very patiently for the Zine, we are currently waiting on several artists submissions ( but worry not, these people asked for an extension before the December deadline! ). Pre-Orders are scheduled to be released on December 20th, with a special raffle surprise for those that do pre-order the Zine!
Also, both Coordinators would like to apologize for lack of updates on the Tumblr, as we have been primarily focused on updating and answering questions vis-a-vis the discord server. ( Which anyone is free to join, the server will be re-purposed for a Hanyatta Safe Space! )
I want to thank everyone, as the holidays approach we all become sparse for personal reasons, and I want to say I am deeply excited for this content to be release. As well, I am excited to tell you all proceeds will be given to the Hispanic Federation ( which I suggest you take a look at as well! You don’t need to donate, but reading the site does wonders! )
Coordinator Bee has organized the zine, and they’ll be spending time to make it look pretty and uniform! Pre-Orders should be delivered the second the zine is put together, likely January 1st, as Bee as informed me it should take about a week to make it look nice ( accounting for the fact it is the holiday seasons, and our Coordinator is with family and will be returning to school after the break! )
Pre-Orders are still available on the Tictail shop and pre-orders will turn to in-time orders sometime later!
A few updates:
- Applications are now officially closed! Emails have been sent out as well! If you would still like to apply, please send an ask!
- For literature, the maximum word count will be 5,000 words, and the minimum word count is 500 words! However, any accepted writer is capable of doing multiple pieces between 500-1,000 word pieces ( all pieces totaling up to 5,000 words )
- The maximum amount of pieces an artist can contribute is now up to four illustrative pieces ( with a maximum of two comics if you do four total pieces ).
- Since we did not reach the goal of 20+ applicants, this will officially stay as an e-zine, but we are currently looking into special hard-copy editions! ( 8.5x11 inches )
- Members list will be updated shortly!
Sorry to the friend in Australia who tried to pre-order! Shipping issues should be resolved, and if not, do not be afraid to contact me vis-a-vis discord ( Indecisive# 5844 ) My deepest apologies!!
WIPS are officially due-- if you were unable to submit your WIP either by email or Discord DM, please inform us as soon as possible as to when you are able to submit!
Look forward to promotional pieces as well!
Coordinator Ray has fallen ill; but on the bright side, the zine has an official end-date for FINAL submissions -- December 1st!
