His eyes were wide and clearly scared, he was hugging his own body and bouncing his leg nonstop. The man was truly nervous and scared. Anyone looking would be fooled by this act, Daichi was sure of it – he was once fooled too, he knows how easy one could fall for it, how easy was to trust this man, this monster.
"Seriously! I'm innocent, please! Why would I kill anyone?!" he kept saying, whimpering, tears in his eyes.
"Stop." Daichi said almost weakly "Just stop! I have proof here, you're the killer. You and him." he took a deep breath, holding his temper "I have DNA proof you were in the crime scene. One single hair on the body, one single mistake you couldn't even realize.” he sighed "Yes, Hinata Shouyou, you are the killer and not some innocent lamb."
It was surprising, almost creepy, how his expression changed so fast, from the scared young man to this proud smirk with sharp evil eyes, face relaxing into a almost happy expression, body relaxing in a almost lazy position.
"Oh~?" his voice was deeper now, too, and much more arrogant "So I got caught?"
"Tell me why. Why did you kill all those people?"
Hinata laughed, almost incredulous at that question, like he couldn't believe someone could ask him that – almost as if he thought the answer was obvious "Because it was fun."
Sometimes it just hits me that Cop!Daichi and Teacher!Suga are canon. Like for real. Just amazing!
