No no trust your gut primeramente! Only you can know whats best for you. No se a veces la gente necesita un poco de animo but it you’ve thought this through. Take the time you need to chill :-) And good luck for what may come next!
Thank you, I definitely need it! :B

i like the simplicity of the blue/white you have rn. oyes, i know this is personal pero por q no vas a grad school a estudiar linguistics? si sabes que cuando eres grad student you’re considered independent y te dan mas ayuda financiera. js, fyi :-)
Thanks! I decided to take a year off to decide whether or not I wanted to take the jump, and while I do love learning and being in a college setting, I don't think I would be mentally fit to spend so much time working towards a masters or PhD. I spent 4 years out of the city, and for the most part I felt like it taught me a lot, but I also have a lot of reservations about higher education. I know that I would get a lot of help, even in the process of applying and getting waivers, but at the end of the day I feel like I would just be really stressed and miserable. I did a summer research program (designed to prepare you for a grad school work/projects/settings) the end of my junior year and it just hit home that research/academia just might not be for me... So yeah, I'm going by what my gut says, and not what I know I SHOULD be logically doing. Haha. Tampoco me gusta la rigidez de muchos de los programas (y la falta de opciones). It just makes me really anxious and :(

possibly. try sticking to first/second gen mexican-americans? or emphasizing that you will be.
ya that's def where i was heading, first + second gen as the focus of my research but i just wanna make sure that the general topic of immigration is the basis for it, like examining changes in the mexican-american family as the result of immigration or s/t (analyzing differing legal statuses, the acculturation of mexican-american children vs their immigrant parents, blah blah blah)
