Catching up over lunch in Ramallah with Yacoub Salloum, a Palestinian living in Nicaragua and a leader of the Palestinian community throughout Latin America as he serves as Vice President of Coplac - Confederación Palestina Latinoamericana y del Caribe (COPLAC). Approx. 1 million Palestinians in this region...an asset like no other, and totally underutilized. Much work to do on this front.

This weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to present a project I've working on for about 2 years now with a professor here at Ramapo. The project called The Legend of Nana Yaa made its small debut at the COPLAC Conference at State University of New York in Geneseo, NY. There's more to come from the project in the future but it is still in its development process.
