CopperCube 6 is a new beginner friendly 3d game engine. I have played around with this myself. I personally found the interface to be extremely clunky (compared with other engines). this put me off. That said the barrier to entry is low (I would still recommend trying to understand game logic). I find Godot easier to use, I found CopperCube, is finicky with textures and materials. I find the Node based system simpler to use as well. I feel prefabs are clunky. CopperCube 6 is now free. If you are new to game creation and looking for a simple engine, check it out. Games From Scratch has a good write up (Check out the link above).
