@copshot asked : ❛ They were wrong, but that doesn’t make this right. ❜ @ santi !
⭒ — ❝ That’s FUCKING stupid. Of course what I did makes it right !! ❞ Brows were furrowed with an accompanying sneer, eyes dead set on the man before him as he hardly cared as to how his words would be used against him. Even the faint crust of a dried up bloody nose that had been given to Santi did little to bother him as he crossed his arms and sat back within his seat with a huff. He could still hear the very faint warning his mother had given him all those years ago when he was a child and was old enough to learn that the world was filled with nothing but danger. ‘Run as fast as you can !! Better to say you ran and lived, then you fought and died.’ But sadly, despite his mother just wishing the best for him, wishing that he’d stay far away from every bit of trouble, Santi just seemed to find himself within it wherever he went. Her words of wisdom only went in through one ear and straight out the other, especially when he happened to catch sight of some DICKHEAD mugging some lady and her poor kid.
Instinct seemed to kick in almost immediately, as he grabbed the punk by the collar, throwing him to the floor and telling the lady to go look for some help. Well, mainly help for this poor guy he was about to beat up, cause he was DEFINITELY going to need it. A few punches had been thrown back and forth, the guy trying to free himself from underneath Santi, but it was ultimately useless until he felt hands hold his own back before he pummeled the SHIT out of this guy. A few more colorful words were thrown from Santi before he had basically been held back for questioning about this whole situation and scolded for acting so brashly. ❝ Doesn’t make it right, my ass !! I should’ve knocked him into next month, fucking asshole. Cornering someone like that just for cash. . . Makes me wish I would’ve punched HARDER. ❞

“Here’s your order, sir.”
He never said much. He always came in, made his order, and kept his head buried in whatever work he had. She’d figured out that much from how often he came by - that and he was a detective of sorts by the badge she caught sight of once. She’s honestly not sure why it is he’d decided to make this his regular spot - it didn’t seem like the type of spot to find someone like him at.
Or maybe that was exactly why.
“Do you need anything else?”

"H-Hey! I said I was alright!! You seriously don't have to do all this!"
But her protest had suddenly become as weak as she was flustered. She understands that this was his job - to get to the bottom of a case - and seeing as she was the only witness in this particular case he couldn't have her suffering from injury. Even so, to be picked up and carried to receive medical assistance instead of just letting her walk had her feeling quite embarrassed.
This really wasn’t what she had in mind when she told herself she wouldn’t mind being carried by a big, strong man that one time.
She would prefer it have been in a more romantic subtext than the current one of ‘officer that was a regular at the coffee shop she worked at is determined to get her help so she can help him do his job’. Didn’t make her feel any less bashful about it, though.
“Detective, please put me down. I’m not gonna die. Trust me.”

Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo Starring in Police Drama ‘Copshop’
Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo have boarded Joe Carnahan’s police drama “Copshop,” with filming set to start in Georgia and New Mexico in October.
“Copshop” will be set at a small-town police station that becomes the unlikely battleground between Butler’s professional hitman, a smart rookie female cop and a double-crossing con man played by Grillo, who seeks refuge behind bars with no place left…
