ichigo daifuku
Ichigo Daifuku: A happy memory from your childhood.
“At one point, I helped a few of my brothers fight off some bad guys!”
“Getting attention.”
Matcha parfait!
Matcha Parfait: A few of your habits.
“Well, I like to cut up pieces of paper into neat designs.” He frowned. “Everyone else says I have a habit of getting mad.”
“I annoy my siblings. Copy Elec calls me ‘A little shit.’”
Cut’s dressed up and seemingly proud of his costume-- Which happens to be dressing up like Mega Man. Copy Cut, however, had simply tolerated being put into a rabbit suit by his copied brother.
He reached over and placed a pair of bunny ears onto Cut’s head. “You were missing these.” He said.
“What--?” Cut looked up at the ears and tried to remove them. “No I’m not!! Why do I gotta wear them?! I’m not a rabbit!”
Copy Cut watched as the ears were thrown to the floor. He stared at Cut with a neutral expression for quite some time, bent down, picked the ears up, and placed them back on Cut’s head.
optifistprime:
No. No more. Duo had witnessed so much death within his lifetime, and yet it always hurt, especially when the victims were young. Duo knelt down, the tiny childlike robot cradled gently in his arms. Upon hearing his question, Duo froze, his heart absolutely shattering as he quickly shook his head. Absolutely not, little one. I forget no one. I forget nothing. I hold onto my memories as if they were my life force itself.” Holding the copy in his larger hand, he moved his other, smaller hand over to him, offering the option to hold onto it. “You are more than you think you are, do you know that? You have so much potential. So much.”
Copy Cut had always made a point to brush things off, but the fact of the matter was that he was still a child-- and being so close to death was quickly breaking his usually deadpan demeanor.
“...You...You still sound like a fortune cookie.” The copy replied weakly, coughing a bit. Normally, death to a robot wouldn’t mean too much-- after all, if their I.C. Chip remained intact, they could be rebuilt. However, Copy Cut didn’t know how damaged his was, or how long it would last if it was damaged at all.
When Duo offered his hand, the little robot wrapped his hand around one of Duo’s fingers.
“Well, hey, if Wily is bored maybe he can save my I.C. Chip if you bring me over to him...” He said, almost completely ignoring what Duo said about him having potential. He didn’t believe it, and he had already stated that in the past.
Despite his suggestion, however, he didn’t imagine that it was likely. He was a copy robot, and he could be re-made, or his original could be reprogrammed. The more he thought about it, the more anxious and panicked he became, until his whole body was trembling as tears formed in his eyes and he began to cry.
“I-I don’t want to die...”
optifistprime:
Duo only got a mere glimpse of the tiny bot before it suddenly jumped up and landed on his shoulder. Wow! What a talented little jumper! Well, it seems as though he now has a little one on his shoulder, and that’s okay. Duo turned his head to get a better look at the robot before giving him a gentle nod of greeting as he continued looking about the area, his heavy, slow footfalls shaking the earth beneath him as he walked along.
Copy Cut found it a bit difficult to balance himself because of Duo’s heavy walking, but he managed. He was soon sat on Duo’s shoulder, one hand gripping the ring of armor around Duo’s neck so that he could keep balance. He glanced around before finally addressing the larger robot.
“I know who you are.” The copy began. He only decided to start conversation because Duo wasn’t talking. “You’re...” He looked through his databank lazily. “Duo. Big ol’ robot from space. Screwed up Wily’s...” Copy Cut paused, counting the fingers on his hands. “...Eighth attempt at world domination? Man, that plan was stupid.”
shinobi-ex-machina:
No, it’s fine, he wasn’t trying to repair his little frog robot with all those tiny parts, it’s not like dropping the weight of another robot (albeit small) on his shoulders would disturb that delicate process at all.
“Rrr… What is that you want?”
“I want you to pay attention to me.” Copy Cut replied, as if it were obvious. He looked down at the frog robot, reaching down to touch it.
“What’re you doing with this?”
