It pains me to have to do this, especially so soon after reopening, but things have been slowing down a lot & due to mods being pretty busy and not having time to properly tend to the group, we’ll be temporarily closing COR.
We’d like to thank everyone for being here, even if it was only for a short time! We had a nice reopening, and we’re glad we got to spend time with you all! But, there’s a lot more we’d like to be able to put into the group we love, and just aren’t able to do that right now because of personal business in our lives right now.
Hopefully, when things settle, we’ll be able to revamp & reopen when we can put as much attention and love into the group as we’d like to (hence the ‘temporary’!). It does make us sad to do this, but we feel as if we need a step back for a little while. We’re sorry to our active members, and we hope you all understand. We’ll be leaving our ask box open and will be checking it if anyone has any questions/feedback, but the modblog will not be updating with new characters or activity.
We’re sorry again, for not being able to keep up as much as we’d like! We’ll miss you guys, but for now, we’ll be seeing you around!
Hello, everyone! So, ß-mod here with important updates! Please look over everything so you’re caught up with the changes made to the modblog, as there are quite a few things to be said!
APPLICATION:
Alright, this is a big one, and probably the most important thing you’ll all be needed to take note of. Our application has been updated to include a bio feature. This is so that everyone, especially castmates, has a good idea of where your muse is coming from, especially if they are drastically canon-divergent. It’s important that everyone have a good understanding of each other, so we felt this feature was definitely needed to help people achieve this.
For those who have already app’ed, you do not need to change your current application. However, everyone app’ing in the future (from this post on) will need the new application in order to be accepted.
AESTHETIC CHANGES:
Yep! The theme has been changed once more to suit spring time! We hope everything looks alright, and as usual, if there’s anything off then please don’t hesitate to let us know right away! There have also been some updates to how the mod page looks, as well as some bolder titles across other pages.
New pictures will be added to the city page, to give you all a better visual of what the city looks like!
LOCATIONS:
So, we’ve got the city page that lists major locations around Soleil, but we also had a feature where people could submit their own family-owned businesses. This now has it’s own page! This is to keep things more organized and easier to look at, and hopefully make it easier for everyone to look over the pages.
PROMO BLOG:
Advertisement! We all love it! Ok, so, jokes aside, this is something that is going to be added very soon! We’ll be making a side blog specifically for promotions to get our name our to as many people as we can. Here is where character requests will be sent, and one of the mods here will make a small graphic to go along with any character or series requests that may come about. Hopefully this way, we can put ourselves out there for more people! We’ll let you all know as soon as this blog is made, and give more specifics to how it will be run.
If there’s any questions, or anything is out of place or doesn’t make sense, please let us know! There’s still a few things that need to be worked out, and that’ll be done throughout the day! Also, we apologize for missing the activity check yesterday. It’s going to be postponed to this Saturday, the 26th!
One more thing: there will be an upcoming event to look forward to! No hints as of what it’s going to be yet, but keep your eyes open for it! That’s all for now, and there’s a good chance I missed something, so I’ll definitely let you guys know later tonight!
Hello! Beta-mod here again, here to let you all know that both clubs pages have been officially updated to meet the new guidelines!

Also, the clubs listed are by no means final! We only listed generic ones off the top of our heads. If there is any club you would like to see listed, please let us know and it will be added promptly!

After some discussion, we’ve decided to tweak the way clubs will be monitored and run. This post will have important information about clubs, so please read if you have a character in a club or are planning to do so! This will get wordy, so it’ll be under a read more for your sake!
Currently, a club is only listed once someone submits it. After that, a character could apply through the one who submitted the club. The club leader could then submit newsletters/updates/events via the school blog and would regulate it’s members. However, this is going to be altered!
Rather than a club only being listed if someone submits it, the school blogs will now list clubs and members. This way, if someone wants to become part of a club that isn’t listed but doesn’t want to run the club itself, they won’t have to! Clubs will be listed and you may send in an ask to the mod blog to have your character placed in a specific club, without having to submit a leadership role.
We will only be listing generic clubs to begin with (sports, arts, etc.) but if there is a club that is not listed and that you would like to become apart of, you may send in an ask requesting the club to be listed. It will be added and you’re free to become a member, just as stated before.
Now, we still really enjoy the idea of the clubs being more member ran, and we know that’s favored. A club can’t go without updates or events, right?
So, if a person chooses to do so, they will now be able to apply for the role of club president of any listed club. There will be multiple criteria when applying for this position:
Must be part of the club, and not in any other
Must have a general knowledge of the club and how it works (whether they go to competitions, what kind of events they run, etc)
Must be an active member
Must already have a page set up on the character's blog with the given form (it will be located on the clubs page) filled out
Similar to how we have it now, the club president will be able to submit newsletters and updates to the blog, and run mini-events for the club. Club members will apply to clubs through the school blog, even if there is a club president. Presidents are not required to list members, since they will now be listed on the school blog. Further details will be listed on the clubs guidelines page.
In the case of clubs/teams where there are members who go to professional matches: the president must be willing to list these roles, when applicable. This is more so for anything that has competitions, such as sports and musical clubs. This is where a knowledge of the club is needed and comes into play. This is aimed more towards characters who wish to take whatever they’re doing to a professional level. For example, the president, or captain, of a sports club could regulate who the regular members are (given said members want the position!).
These updates will all be added to the clubs page as soon as possible, and we’ll update you all on when the changes are made (they will be done tonight)!
We hope this all makes sense and is the favorable choice. This is done because we want to have clubs available, even if there hasn’t been someone to submit it as the president, since not everyone is up for the role. It means that any given club may not have events, but that’s better than not having a club at all! It also solves the issue if a club president were to drop or become inactive.
For anyone running a club currently, you will be automatically listed as a president. If you would like to step down from this role and have your character as a member, please let us know!

I’ll be doing an activity check by the end of this week! Since this is the first activity check, we will only be issuing out warnings. After that, activity checks will begin to remove people who are inactive. We’re still deciding when exactly these will take place regularly, but we’ll keep you updated!

Both Universities have their own blogs! Here you will find clubs lists, announcements by your lovely headmasters, and the dorms listings! It’s highly recommended that you follow your respective school’s blog , as there may be mini-events that pertain to the different school!

On another note, I’m here to remind you all of the clubs! This post might get wordy, so please bear with me! If you’re interested in clubs at all, please read over this post!
The clubs offered at both Sunrise and Sunset are completely student ran! That means YOU GUYS! That’s right, any of you are free to start up your own club! Sports, arts, community, any sort of club you can think of! How does this work, you ask?
Simple! Each school has a small form to fill out (Sunrise, Sunset)! Similar to apping a blog to the group, you must have a club page somewhere on your blog before you submit it to the group! Once you’ve got that set up, please submit the app to the respective school’s blog. Then, your headmaster will review and publish it! Once that is done, other students may join your club! How they join is up to you!
If you’d like to make an announcement for your club, feel free to submit it to the school’s blog, and it will be posted for you! This could include updates, a club event, etc.! Club members and activity is mandated through the club president, and overseen by the headmaster! Any questions on clubs or how they work may be directed here, and full guidelines will be posted on the school’s blogs soon enough!
