gabriel does not want to be here, and regrets coming with every step he takes. in theory, he's keeping brotherhood eyes on the supernatural world but for all of his hunting experience, the gala is completely out of his wheelhouse, and his world. still, he knows he has a few lifelines, one of them being @reidhalstead, who's coming with him as a chaperone of sorts. gabriel feels a deep sense of duty to be here in case of anything going wrong and putting fellow hunters and humans in danger (at least, he tells himself it's limited to them), but he's keeping a steady eye on one clan in particular.

allie loves the excuse to dress up, though the rest of the gala is just a touch shy of her comfort zone. it doesn't stop her from approaching it with her same amount of enchantment and enthusiasm, as well as curiosity towards the witch covens and the rest of the supernatural world as a whole. she attends with dear friend @nivokova and a new one, @dannyriv.

unsurprisingly, vera is attending the gala alone, they find it suits them better than worrying about any loose ends. ever the student, they're at the gala to learn and observe both kanemaru and other clans. they're also taking the moment to watch pack and coven dynamics, as admittedly they haven't explored those areas of the supernatural world yet. they know the possibilities of sneaking an ear into the room where the conclave occurs is low, but they're determined to find a way, if there is one.

césar arrives to the gala alone, drunk, and late. it takes him about five minutes into the gala to start meddling with other substances, and chaos of all kinds. either way, he's here for entertainment, and to support harford by being a pain in their asses, and to watch his alpha's back.
