Ingenuity was always welcomed among… majority of Urbanshade’s operations. New inventions, new experiments, new this, new that. Everything had to be new. Had to be something innovative for the company.
With the Guardsmen, however, it was a bit different.
You had to follow the same patterns, as if simply code in a machine. Repetitive missions, repetitive tasks. Standing still for hours on end, guarding containment cells and attempting to drown out the cries and pleads from experimentation. Of the new.
This all changed, however, when The Saboteur broke free.
You should know the Expendable protocol by now, shouldn’t you? You were never expected to return, simply another body to be tossed to the side. And yet, defying all odds, you did. You returned with the crystal and survivors guilt, as well as money and a complete pardon from your crimes.
But this story isn’t over yet. No. Operation: Heartburn was still being put into effect now.
Ebbe stood atop the lift with her team, re-adjusting the strap of her medical bag once more. Her nerves were obvious, but she attempted to stay calm.

No need to reply with something this long :) i just figured I’d make a good first impression
He looked over to his side, looking her up and down. He doesn't remember meeting her before, but she couldn't be bad if she's a medic right? He tends to do well with medics or stealth-mission guardsmen.
He eyed her through his mask curiously. Would it be bad to try and kickstart a conversation? Would he look awkward? Hm...
Heavy bag? He quietly asked, a little nervous himself. He wasn't as nervous about the operation, as he expected to embrace death with open arms. He just sucks with people... it shows.
He had no idea what insanity was about to come. He has yet to see how far Urbanshade truly goes.
