Poor girl took a running leap on to the porch 3 days ago but missed. She hurt her leg and has been pretty much laid up on the couch or the bed ever since. It's not easy being laid up when you are an active dog like her. She is really in full suck mode. I was hoping she would heal more quickly but am told strains can take up to ten days or more sometimes. Funny story... we just moved. While setting up the new art room/studio the other day, I placed the mannequin heads in the window. Later that evening, Cora my sons Cane Corso who lives with us, was wandering from room to room guarding the parameters as Cane Corso's tend to do. All of a sudden she starts barking madly, growling, fur on end and is standing in the doorway of the art room. She had spotted the mannequin head in the window, Mildred, the one with the purple wig, must have looked like someone looking in the window to her and she went into stranger danger mode! So now we can add mannequin heads and snowmen to her list of mortal enemies! #coratheexplora #canecorso #italianmastiff #fraidycat
