Cavetown “This is Home” plus a ton of supplies equals angst of Cordance from @askgarblesfarm
Cordance felt a little sad seeing his gramps shrine in the corner of the farm. His gramps always made him feel better about himself. The city didn’t give him much to do other than work, learn, eat, sleep, and think. Thinking too much lead to some days where he felt lost. All his coworkers at Joja found love or friends, but Cordance has trouble keeping his. They always left at some point.
Seeing the grave brought back when he was a kid, playing with the ducks and sheep. The memory of the funeral arose with hard feelings. The lights of skyscrapers in the back of his head drained him if his cheer.
When he first moved in, he felt anxious and worried, but little did he know the stars would welcome him with open arms. The chance to bring the old farm back gave him a new life. One that didn’t make him feel lost everyday. Though he keeps making mistakes here and there, he always knows he will accomplish something in the end.
Friday nights at the saloon makes him feel his childhood glee come back as he watches Sam and Sebastian play pool. Seeing Pierre everyday as he checks to see what’s in shop becomes a routine filled with peace. Fishing and mining give him the strength to fight again. Once again in his life, he feels true joy again.
