L3 Has Started.
So, this blog is once again going to be put to use for the production journal. This year my proposal is as follows:
'Last year created the first stepping-stones for my business passion and I shall be moving forward during the duration of this year with the same ethic. My main aim will be running alongside one of the aims for my current Business venture. My fellow classmates and I are soon to be thrown into the world of work, and this year is our chance to show the industry what we’re capable of so we can be hired. While incredibly busy with their films this would be sidelined somewhat. So I propose that I spend this time to use my organisation skills and put them into a huge networking project. I would like to event manage the Animation Student’s Degree show, drumming up interest among the Industry Professionals and treating the show like an ‘check me out’ kind of affair. During the run up to the degree show I’ll be enhancing the students web presence by creating ‘spotlight’ areas using my flash website skills. One of the things mentioned on Monday was the lack of effort put into the online presence of the student’s work to advertise them as creative professionals for after University. I intend to step in and create the ‘websites’. I already have the skills necessary to complete the online side of this project, and I will be working closely with the other students. Essentially my project will be a showcase of both my organisational skills and practical skills in terms of networking and online presence. The production file will include the development of both the online showcase & Degree Show.
