HEHE I have to figure out how I wanna draw chell n Wheatley. Chell is one of my favorite characters in gaming so I really want to do her justice! I feel like she's definitely muscular, not super well defined though so I gave her a bit of mass, I think it would be very funny if the 'weight' that Glad0s made fun of her for was actually mostly made up of muscle, glad0s simply can't bare one of her test subjects being healthy / physically strong. Also while I love the concept of chell having heterochromia, I'm actually not very fond of it in character designs so I made her main eye-colour her usual steel-blue but have it bottom lighting of a yellowish, she sort of has my eyecolour! If i were to portray it more realistically it'd look morel like this

FLOWEY AND WHEATLEY SIMILARITIES

Here we go:

Both characters are limbless.

But are still very expressive. I guess it's easier for Flowey since he actually has two eyes and a mouth and can literally change the shape of his face.

They are both the first character you meet in their respective games. Obviously you don't meet Wheatley in Portal 1, but in Portal 2 he's the first character you meet.

Both are named after plants.

Both are made in a laboratory.

The reason for Wheatley's and Flowey's creation is also the reason why they became evil.

Wheatley was made to be small, powerless, and stupid, and not only did he not like that and was bullied for being the Intelligence Dampening Sphere but also he wanted to prove that he wasn't stupid (which is definitely right, like others have said he isn't a moron but that's a character analysis lots of people have already done). And because of that he betrayed the player so that he could keep being the central core of Aperture because he was finally big and powerful and a genius, but then he got power mad and couldn't handle the itch and ruling Aperture. Also, Glados' chassis actually magnifies the personality of the robot plugged into it.

Flowey was made because the royal scientist wanted to know what happens when something without a soul has the will to live, but Flowey being soulless is the reason why he couldn't feel love and compassion.

They both become big and powerful after a character who is a ruler is taken down. And they both become big and powerful by taking something very important from the character who is a ruler.

Wheatley takes Glados' body and Flowey takes the human souls.

They have the Evil Laugh after that.

After their boss fight they turn back to their old self and are regretful for the terrible things they've done.

Wheatley and Flowey probably thought of their own names.

Wheatley is actually the IDS/Intelligence Dampening Sphere and he most likely gave himself an actual name because that name/label is pretty insulting tbh and others would easily know what he's for. He probably also replaced his name to move on from his past and hurtful origins, and to be his own person and not be defined by his label and reason for being created.

Flowey most likely didn't have a name when he first woke up so he probably named himself.

Both have alarms playing in their themes.

Lots of the songs that are connected to Wheatley have alarm sounds in them.

The song that plays in Photoshop Flowey's boss fight, "Your Best Nightmare", has alarm sounds in it.

i cannot believe i actually finished this. ive wanted to do this wheatley flowey character comparison for so long. this is just for fun tho. dont take it too seriously. anyway theyre two of my favorite characters.
