Flow & Vis
Core species has vis (force/strength)
Vis is the same as blood in a Core body the difference is that they are the only species could use their Vis as an offensive attack. Their Vis define the strength of their soul.
Other species have what is called Flow
Flow is like blood& energy in the Arca and Quadrifoil body, they can't manipulate it, but the more Flow they have, the stronger their soul are.
Quadrifoil are results of interspecific marriage
Some of them could have Vis in their body and the ability to control it or not.
Some have Flow in their body.
Rare case where a Quadrifoil had Vis & Flow inside their body, Vis and Flow have the same function yet they are opposites as Vis is stronger than Flow.
If any Quadrifoil had Flow and Vis in their body it depends on how much they had.
For example:
30% Flow and 50% Vis = Ability to control their Vis and likely to have a strong soul. No issues will occur as long as it is trained.
50% Flow and 50% Vis = Has a strong soul and the Flow might even boost the Vis effect when used. No issues will occur due to the balance amounts, but if left unchecked might cause a seizure.
30% Vis and 50% Flow = Likely to not have the ability to control Vis but had a strong soul, 5% for a weak soul.
Vis are meant to be used if it was kept inside the body for too long it will start affecting the body physically such as seizures, loss of control of the Vis, or terrible headaches like getting stabbed by hundreds of daggers for ten minutes straight.
Aliza is a result of interspecies marriage too, but she only had Vis that counted her as part of the Core species because she was pureblood, despite having physical differences.
In Core species it doesn't matter if your physical are different than them as long you possess the pureblood Vis then they will see you as part of them.
