A leap in her chest. The frightful, suffocating pang of discomfort. She doesn’t want to be having this conversation, she didn’t even want to be looking at him. If anything in this world was worth a damn, he would have gagged on concrete and blood, and slowly slipped out of this world feeling even a fraction of the pain he caused her.
But this world is not so merciful.
“Oh? Do you think so?” She spoke leadingly, venomously. She can barely contain the dripping malice in her tone, stepping forward as she looms large, shoulders broad as she fails to slow her heaving breath. She thinks she might be sick, if she weren’t already powering through it with rage.
“Yeah. You made a mistake, alright, Doc. And if it’s up to me? You’re not going to get the chance to make any more. I’ll give you a five second head-start to start running as far away as you can.”
It wouldn’t help, though.

She knew Starline just well enough to not buy his little theatrical death, it was just like him to have a way out. She knew he’d fall back to there old base, regroup and probably relocate. So she wanted to be here first, long before he did and for once she’d get her damn answers. She just had to hit him before he could hit her---because for once she wasn’t taking his bullshit answer. He failed, his whole plan failed, and now the truce was off. She’d do things her way from now on! No more games, no more sweet smiles, and pretending! Only her Rage and Hatred it was all she had left.
She burst through the door to his Lab her eyes wild with fury, electricity crackled off her gloves and along the floor. Her clothes torn and ripped in places from her battle with sonic---yet her body was untouched. She healed form it, she couldn’t even die properly! it was his fault, he made her this way, he stole her life away and reduced her to some kind of monster! but if he wanted a Monster he’d get one!
“ Starline... Oh Starline... We got some Shit to discuss....You Owe me little man! and either you pony up... or we find out how long it takes to fry a duck with lightning! “
