Heartfelt truth, I intended to create a bridge piece between Mermay and Pride Month by drawing a robust selection of cute PRIDE! mermayds. I actually finished the piece and it looked very good for a 2.5-hour midnight work meant to be a little celebrative kickstart.

However, my Corel is a ginormous satchel of the most rancid dicks money can afford, and periodically it will refuse to open the save window and allow me to save my progress. It particularly loves to do this when I’m relatively proud of a piece, it’s a relatively good piece of artwork, and I’ve forgotten to save at least once.

I tried my hardest. I tried regular save, Save As, even Iterative Saves. I condensed all the layers into one image and copied it about 10 times before cutting it to ensure it was copied. Defeated, I closed window. Save? Can’t do shit, so no. Convert to clipboard? Yes, please. ERROR: Could not convert to clipboard. 2.5 hours’ progress, completely lost. I’m getting sick and fucking tired of it and this new software has done nothing but continue to disappoint me. The gotdamned LITE version was more reliable than this. And I’m not the only one having problems with Corel Painter, either.

I’m sorry everyone. I tried. And I’m too frustrated and tired to try again. Hope you had a happy Mermay, and hope you have a good PRIDE.

Randomly doodling faces lead to a noir-esc singer Marcaline? Was meant to be working on something else, but got distracted while working on something else.

Not going to lie, .sort of want to tackle the rest in noir esc fashion.

I need help finding tutorials... =///="

So I've had an Intuos digital sketch pad and Corel Painter 11 for a year or two possibly more but I CAN'T FRIGGIN REMEMBER DX, and I've only ever used them casually so I don't have any real talent using them.

I'd like to start using them a lot more, but I have no idea where to start and was wondering if anyone could help me find some good tutorials on how to use them!! Please, it would really help me out >.<

I think I finally dowloaded a Corel Painter trial!

It`s like the first one ever made, but is all right cuz I`m really enthusiastic about it. It`s the first time I`m trying digital art, anyway, so anything it`s better than nothing!

I decided to download a free trial of Corel Painter 11 to see how I do with it. 

I`ve seen so many beautiful things made with it that I`m a bit afraid to even use it.
