I second this proposal
What if it was like an EMP blast or something? Like they can make it happen to effect people for half an hour or something? But that idea is rad, Characters would have to rely more on their skills and weapons rather than semblances. Characters like Pyrrha and Yang would be severely effected and have to figure out different ways to deal with it. I am ALL for this idea.
That’d be cool! And yeah, what I always loved about people with power negation is that when it’s a hero character it has to be used so strategically. When it’s a villain with power negation all of the heroes are screwed.
Like with your idea, losing your powers for half an hour? That’d be devastating in a fight. It certainly sounds to me like a villain character.
If they were a hero character it’d probably be like, “I can set off an EMP blast that cancels everyone’s power around me for only half of a minute, and it takes 5 minutes to recharge. Also I can’t use it when fighting with my team because I have no control over who loses their powers for that half minute.”
Power negation is fun.

Thanks ;w; I’ll admit, I’m pretty scared, nervous, and frustrated about this... I’ve already started to purge my friend’s list on FB, and I’m scared to look at my family FB cause I know they ALL voted Trump (except for my cool af gay uncle)...
Personally, I’m a lot more concerned about a lot of my close friends who are in really bad places and are suicidal... my depression/suicidal levels haven’t changed, my amount of self-neglect hasn’t changed, I’m still passively coasting at “Well, if I just happen to die, then oh well”, but I know several people who are actively contemplating taking their lives and I’m trying so damn hard to talk them all down...
This whole thing is a disaster, but at this moment at least, I personally have gone through worse, I’ll survive
I just pray everyone else survives with me
