Students from Corguinho visits Zigurats Citty
A group of students from the State School José Alves the municipality of Quito Corguinho (MS), along with their teachers, were visiting on September 13, 2012 the headquarters of the Association Project Portal. They also had the opportunity to visit and learn about the City ziggurats and Technology Center ziggurats (CTZ) including astronomical observatory. At the headquarters of the Portal Project Finance group of 28 teenagers and three teachers held a walk through the important points, such as hills, craters, track, plateau, among others. During the visit the students met ziggurats all activities performed by CTZ (Centro Tecnológico ziggurats) and took all his doubts about climate change, seismic events on satellites, among others. In astronomical observatory, watched a video about the functioning and importance of an observatory. They could see the practical operation of the first astronomical observatory in Mato Grosso do Sul featuring the latest equipment fully automated. At the end of the visit each student and teacher received a copy of the second edition of the Journal of Bilu and a discoid stone characteristic of the region, and learned about the chemical composition of these rocks, whose analysis documents in USP laboratories and INPE available the websites of the Association Project Portal.
