κάτι δεν πάει καλά ... που είναι;

This seems familiar. Another storm? The weather reports talk about it like it’s nothing to fear. The waves are yet again higher than they have been in decades, didn’t this happen a few months prior? Creatures who witnessed the effects of the first storm – and the body of Scylla that had appeared soon after. It seems to mask something, though it is only vampires and furies who are feeling the strangeness from this weather. They are on edge, feelings of dread seeping within their souls. Perhaps something is coming, but the storm is their current worry. 

Houses in the ancient section of the city are collapsing. The ground is shaking every few hours. Earthquakes? Of course, that’s what they are. Greece is prone to them. Nothing out of the ordinary. Storefronts are being flooded, and many are in search of higher ground. But how long will this one last?

Everyone knows storms = bad. 

After acceptances on Friday, 8/28, we will not be accepting from 8/29 to 9/6. Acceptances will resume on Tuesday, 9/8.

Everyone is advised to stay indoors. The weather reports are showing the beginning of a massive storm that is heading from the Aegean Sea over Athens and into Corinth Bay. Shelf clouds are visible on the horizon, and all residents are being advised to travel carefully when the rain and lightning begin, and to be prepared for winds that are predicted to be up to sixty-two miles per hour. Meteorologists have confirmed that the storm will linger for days, and are unable to predict when it will stop. All residents are to take extreme caution. 

OOC information under the cut:

Yay lightning storms! This, for all sense of the word, is strange for Corinth Bay. The ocean waves will be crashing against the cliff side of the higher parts of the city, the rain will be pouring for hours straight with brief interludes, and there will be massive bouts of lightning and thunder that occur on and off for the next week as well. 

If your character is a mortal creature, their nights are restless and dreamless. They will sleep, but wake up with the same exhaustion from the day before.

If your character is an immortal creature, they are having dreams every night, but they are not necessarily good or bad dreams. 

This storm will last until March 13th.
