I’m prob gonna make a better post abt this later when I have more time but Corn likes Huey and trusts him
I mean we’ve seen Corn can and will bite when he gets panicked and thinks he’s in danger, and Huey straight up dragged him from a field and he STAYED in Huey’s house and didn’t immediately leave, along w asking Huey for things (flower), seeming pretty at ease which is different to how he is around other people (except Kitty). AND just laughed when Huey made fun of him, so he must know Huey isn’t malicious
So hc Corn tends to watch people to try and understand them and from that he’s concluded that Huey is harmless and wouldn’t hurt him
