an impressive amount of food sits on the table in front of him. most of it has already been eaten, while some of it has bites taken out of it, and others haven’t been touched yet. upon feeling even the slightest twinge of hunger, Ian had excitedly stopped at a local cafe...and promptly ordered one of most of their food items. feeling hungry was a great thing. sirens did not need to eat, which was an incredibly sad thing, given how delicious some food was.
Ian was currently working on a rather large bowl of pudding (he’d smooth-talked his way into getting a bigger portion than what was usually served), shoveling spoonfuls into his mouth like his life depended on it. when he looked up to take a sip of water, he realized someone was looking for an empty seat to sit in. he wasn’t really eager to share his space, but he guessed he was beginning to feel a bit lonely...
scooting some of his empty dishes to the side, Ian pushed the chair opposite of him out a bit with his foot.
“You can sit there, if there’s nowhere else.”
