Absolutely obsessed with the thought that the BBC offered a (university) drama group with a history of things going badly a spot on their main broadcasting service and despite them driving a ship through their studios, setting the set on fire, fighting with BBC crew and having to call an ambulance they invited them back MULTIPLE TIMES
#I don't fully understand how much the cornley lore plays into tgws#But even if you just take the BBC broadcasts as Canon#What was the BBC thinking#Ik it was about Max's relatives but they really didn't question it?#What was max about to do if they didn't give them the spot?#Did he have blackmail on his aunt who runs the BBC? Or did she just love him too much to deny him#Where was everyone else involved in the BBC?
