I always wished the others could join you underwater too :/ or maybe the level could've have an into section where you were floating on the surface of the water, with the others flying above you providing support, and then at some point you submerge for the rest of the level! That would've been really cool. Haha I'm just thinking of pointless things now though.
I think that would have been a pretty cool idea, at least then the level wouldn’t be so dark for a little bit! I joke, but still, sounds like a pretty neat idea. The only thing that makes me sad about the whole thing is that nobody ever really remembers the Blue Marine anymore, not even any of the later games make any callbacks to it. Star Fox 64 3D is the only thing that used it again, but it’s a port/remake, so I don’t know if that counts. At least in 3D you can actually see what you’re doing.
When I was little, aquas terrified me whenever I ended up going there! Haha it was so dark and depressing. But now I think it's one of the easiest levels as long as you just constantly fire torpedoes. There isn't as much do in it as the other levels.
Yeah, it is a pretty easy level all things considered, just hammering on the Torpedoes seems to work pretty well! Getting good Hit scores on it is a bit trickier though. Still, the level just annoys me due to how slow it moves compared to the Arwing and Landmaster levels. It’s still fine level all in all.
Seeing my best friends graduate was such a surreal experience. We're all grown up! Who'd have thought it would happen. I'm so proud of you guys!! <33333

About that person who said Pearl has a secret love, honestly I don't think rebecca sugar would ever promote love that is kept secret. I have a friend who is straight, but I am just so in love with him and always have been and he knows it, and we're both happy and ok with the fact that he can't feel the same way. And the way I feel to him is exactly like the way Pearl spoke to rose in Rose's scabbard. If rose isn't polyromantic for Pearl, I still don't think Pearl's love would be a secret.
Basically, if rose and Pearl don't share any form of mutual gem love, I think it's undeniable that Pearl at least has those feelings to rose and it's not a secret. It's something that is established and they're all okay with. The way they giggled shows that, and rose isn't the type of person to be awkward towards someone with feelings for her. At least I find it to be an extremely healthy portrayal of living with a crush on someone that doesn't feel the same. Unless Rose feels the same of course
Oh I totally agree- even if they do not explicitly have a relationship, Pearl’s love and affection for Rose is not a secret, nor does it have to be.
