Because they F A D E! - 👉🏼always use a color-safe shampoo/conditioner that is recommended by your colorist. 👉🏼over washing is your enemy! Each time you wash, you will loose some of the color pigment. Aim to wash no more than 1-2x per week. (Dry shampoo will become your BFF💛) 👉🏼✖️HOT WATER✖️and heat in general damages your strands and raises the hair cuticle, giving color an escape route. Cool or cold water should only be used to wash your hair. While you’re at it, remember to turn down the heat on your hot tools! - While all of these tips hold true for making any color service last to it’s full potential, it’s especially important to be extra careful with your vivid colors.
