One time when I was little my mom poured me a glass of milk just as I was about to tell her I wanted apple juice or something. She told me I could have apple juice instead but I freaked out and almost cried saying "no I want the milk!!" Just because she went through the trouble of pouring a glass for me and I didn't want to waste that effort. I don't know why I remember this 15 years later.

oh gosh, I am the SAME WAY. my mom would almost always have cheesy pitas or just silces of cheese of crackers waiting for me when I’d come home from school, sometimes even homemade cocoa and cookies in the winter, and even if I wasn’t hungry or anything I would eat them anyway, because she went through the trouble of making them and. idk if she thought of me while making them, like, thinking it’d make me happy? and just thinking about that I couldn’t waste it, just the thought of it was so important to me ;-;

Wow big same. I was so proud of myself this weekend for finally shifting my attitude and starting to feel better and then I get two emails from my boss and immediately want to quit again.

God I opened Facebook to a girl from my college ministry writing a novel about the lord providing her with a new car after years of prayer and how the car, the physical symbol of gods love, would fade, gods love lasts forever and I was like. Honey. Child. It’s a new car. You had a car before. It’s not that deep. Say thanks and move on.

This is incredibly dumb and I 100% feel your pain.

there’s nothing i hate more than people acting really flippant toward me about stuff that’s way more complex than they understand

like i hate these people that think if you’re “good with computers” you can do whatever they want with a wave of your hand

just because i can like resize the headshots on the staff page or whatever doesn’t mean i can ALTER THE CODE IN A WORDPRESS PLUGIN lady
