Drabble prompt: While observing the Normandy crew's goings on, Kasumi sees someone do something completely out of character
With words no longer providing enough amusement to hold her interest, the thief placed her book back upon the shelf. Once she tuned into the Normandy’s surveillance cameras and microphones via her omni-tool, Kasumi leaned back into the couch’s armrest. Flipping through the different cameras, she stopped when the starboard observation deck came into view and there was noise transmitting through the microphone. Seeing no signs of anyone else in the room, Kasumi switched to a different view of the justicar and increased the volume. Samara was singing something Kasumi could only describe as operatic. Closing her eyes, the thief let the asari’s voice float over her. This was one event she would not record and keep a copy of. She respected Samara’s privacy in this regard and she intrinsically knew that experiencing this exact moment again would lesson its preciousness.
I see more of my postcards have arrived. [Maniacal laughter ensues]
