French Clown Corinne Faucon stepped into the danger zone when she travelled from the South of France, Languedoc over the channel to England to play A CULTURAL EXCHANGE at the Corpus Playroom, ADC Theatre. Her Clown Biscotte tells the Cambridge audience what she really thinks: ‘Il y a trop d'anglais ici!’ - ‘there are too many English here!’, and delivers other gem-studded insults to the English directed at her fellow player, the English Clown Margareth (played by Freya Stang). Her performance was met by an audience bursting out into uncontrolled laughter and thought her performance was ‘Totally hilarious!’ We can report that Corinne is now safely back on home ground for the local grape harvest.
