Lies

[[OoC:]] Ren does not like lies, no doubt, but he feels that now and then they are done with the intention of protecting someone, or to prevent harm. Depending how the lie is done and what the truth is if he ever found out, he’d do his best to forgive and put it aside. Otherwise he will get extremely cross. He’s rather prissy when he’s even just a little annoyed.It doesn’t mean he hasn’t lied himself, however, even if he strives to be an honest man. There’s just some things he can’t say, either he’s not confident enough or he doesn’t want to hurt the other party, even if the truth hurts him to with-hold. Sometimes he feels bad for not speaking the whole spectrum of his opinions, because every so often there’s that dark or bitter thought that he refuses to say. In which case he beats around the bush, dismisses, or sugar-coats it. He’ll restrain what he says to an extent even if he trusts them, or is teased about it, unless you make him that angry, upset or guilty about it.Luckily, situations where he has to conjure up a lie to hide a hurtful truth or opinion - be it about someone else, or something about himself - rarely occur.
