Funny thing about corsets

They are really comfortable if they fit you right. But you need a chambermaid to put your shoes on.

One of my faves is in for repairs. Shown over/under OOTD here. I wore it for >10 hours every day for more than a month. Most days quite snuggly laced. I put so much stress on it that the steel boning gave way in two locations. I learned that I need spiral boning on my corsets, also reinforced busk. And also that more than one corset during waist training periods should help to lessen the wear on each.

Ya know since I corset, my waist is noticeably small, but like strangers feel the need to point it out and I don't necessarily want to tell random strangers I corset because I don't want to HAVE that conversation or any conversation with some stranger work, so usually I smile and nod but like do they think I didn't notice that my waist was much smaller than it should be for my size? And it's not like there's a compliment or a question, they're just like 'wow you have a tiny waist' idk its just strange to me to point out someone's body shape to them as if they don't know
